Before you apply anywhere, read this.
Fraudulent recruitment notices are common. Here's exactly how genuine LSHSC opportunities are announced, and what to watch for.
Three checks before you trust any vacancy notice
Check the source
Genuine notices come only from the official LSHSC portal or verified LSHSC social media accounts â never from a third-party website, agent or forwarded flyer.
Check for fees
The application process is always entirely free. Any request for payment â for forms, processing, interviews or placement â is a red flag.
Check for confirmation
Genuine recruitment cycles are also confirmed through public statements on verified LSHSC channels, not just a single unverified post.
Required documentation for future recruitment windows
When a genuine recruitment window does open, applicants have historically been asked to complete the LSHSC Appointment Form (physical or fillable) along with the following:
Certified educational credentials
Certified copies of degrees, professional certificates and academic transcripts relevant to the role applied for.
Professional licenses
Valid, current licensing documentation from the relevant professional regulatory body (e.g. MDCN, NMCN, PCN, as applicable to your profession).
References
Professional references who can attest to your qualifications, conduct and prior work experience.
LSHSC Appointment Form
The completed physical or fillable Appointment Form, submitted according to the instructions published with the vacancy notice.
This list reflects historical requirements and is provided to help you prepare. Always follow the specific instructions published with any active, verified vacancy notice.
